| Mark your calendar now for the CAFCS Annual Conference
April 30-May 1-3, 2012, as we join Extension for
conference workshops plus Off-Site Tours. CAFCS will
be joining the Extension FCS Agents (CEAFCS) for
their annual Professional Development Conference
at The Ranch (Budweiser Center) near Loveland.
CAFCS will kick off their Annual Conference
on Monday evening, April 30 with an Awards Dinner
at 7 p.m. The morning of May 1 will be the Board
Meeting with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed
by the CAFCS Annual Meeting at 9:30. At 11 a.m.,
we’ll join Extension for their conference.
PLEASE plan to attend on Monday night to celebrate
the award winners. Attend Tuesday for Annual
Meeting and the Extension workshops. See a full

Conference Registration.

Colorado Association of Family & Consumer Sciences
(CAFCS) is the Colorado affiliate of the American Association
of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS). CAFCS is a professional
organization where Family & Consumer Science (FCS)
Teachers, university educators, Cooperative Extension
Agents, corporate executives, professional students,
and members engaged in home and community services collaborate
to improve the quality of individual and family life.
We are professionals who educate and influence generations
of American consumers in classrooms, companies, and communities.

Applications for the 2012 Awards will be available
February 15, 2012. Awards for Teacher of the
Year, Professional of the Year, and the Marcile
Wood Community Service Award will be presented
at the CAFCS 2012 Annual Conference.
