 The
Colorado Association of Family & Consumer Sciences
(CAFCS) is the Colorado affiliate of the American Association
of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS). CAFCS is a professional
organization where Family & Consumer Science (FCS)
Teachers, university educators, Cooperative Extension
Agents, corporate executives, professional students, and
members engaged in home and community services collaborate
to improve the quality of individual and family life.
We are professionals who educate and influence generations
of American consumers in classrooms, companies, and communities.
You will want to check out the latest news on professional
development opportunities, membership recognition and

The CAFCS 2010 Award Submissions are available
for downloads. The deadline
for submissions is February 1, 2010. Awards for Teacher
of the Year, Professional of the Year, and the Marcile
Wood Community Service Award will be presented at the
CAFCS 2010 Annual Conference, March 5-6, 2010.
